St. Louis MO (KTVI) - One suspect dead and another in critical condition, after parents spot armed men outside with their daughter and grab their guns.
She had gone outside to her vehicle and was startled by two armed men that wanted to use her to gain entry into the home. When the 34 year old father spotted his daughter being held at gunpoint, he armed himself and fired several shots at the men, killing one and sending the other to the hospital after his brother had picked him up..
The mother also armed herself and shot at the suspects but missed her target and possible went through a neighbors window. That homeowner heard the gunshots and her window glass break and took cover.
What started out as a home invasion attempt had quickly turned into a shooting death investigation.
