Armed Robbery Of Used Car Dealership Foiled By Employee With Firearm

CHATTANOOGA, TN. (WRCB)-  A call was placed around 2 pm of a shooting and robbery attempt of a used car dealership that looks like it did not go as planned from the criminals point of view.  
When a masked man armed with a firearm entered the used car dealership and demanded cash, an employee in fear for his life produced his own sidearm and shot the suspect center mass sending him to the hospital.  The suspect would not survive his injury.  The shooting has been ruled  justifiable and no charges are sought on the employee that acted in self defense.  .
