Did Mother Jones Senior Editor Mark Follman Lie About Open Carry Supporter

On Thursday, June 26, The website MotherJones.com published an article by Mark Follman about the spread of the open carry movement outside of Texas, and how Target has been pressured by some organizatins like "MDA" to enforce a no guns policy in their stores.

In the article Mr. Follman posted pictures of open carry supporters Facebook posts claiming they were all armed with firearms. This shocked me, because I personally know of one of the photographs used in the article was an UNARMED individual. That's right, the person was unarmed, but was portraid as an ARMED individual. The photo in question was taken outside of a Target store in San Clemente California, were open carry of firearms is prohibited unless you fall under a list of exemptions. I can attest that shopping at Target, does NOT fall under one of the excemptions listed in the

CA Penal Code.
