Store Employee With Concealed Revolver Shoots Robbery Suspect Dead

MAYFAIR, PHILADELPHIA - It was Monday, just after 5 pm, when a man pulled out a knife in a robbery attempt at a local heath food store in Mayfair. The suspect, went behind the counter and smashed the cash register to the ground and then collected the cash that had collected on the floor.

The suspect then proceeded in putting his knife to the chest of the employee and that seems to be his biggest mistake. The ex-law enforcement officer drew her concealed revolver and shot the man in the upper torso, sending him to the hospital where he did not survive his injuries. Not only was the employee an ex- police officer, but it has been reported that she spent 2 years with the secret service.
