The Sleeping Giant, When Shall She Awaken Again?

Anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings ended in order to learn what had been produced behind closed doors. The answer was provided immediately.   Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

People tend to either not remember, or have been brainwashed into thinking that America is a Democracy.  A Democracy was never the intent of the Founding Fathers.  They realized that in a Democracy, a majority could grow unchecked into tyranny, where the rich and powerful, could get away with anything they wanted to do.  With a Constitutional Republic, the rights of the one, outweigh the wants of the many.

The great men that helped start and mold this country into a free nation, wanted a small government.  A government by, of, and for the people.  The people, not corporations and bankers, but all human beings residing therein.  Now I do believe that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.  We the people, have been too tied up into our own little lives to notice what has been happening in the depths of our government.  A government that I fear has grown so large, and spread so much into every aspect of our lives, that soon you may not be able to flush your toilet without permission in the name of  conserving  water.

People need to start waking up and start paying attention   Just because you are not immediately affected by UNCONSTITUTIONAL  LAWS  and the unjust action by the people, you sent to represent you.  It is sickening to hear election results, and hear figures that only 20% of the population voted and  then these same individuals that could not find the time, or did not care, gripe when a law effects them.  With the influx of undocumented aliens flooding this country, jumping on welfare and all sorts of freebies,  who do you think THEY WILL VOTE FOR?  Without voter ID laws, the moochers, will not want the gravy train to stop, and with low registered voter turnout, things will never change, just get worst.

When things get bad enough, people rebel!
