Moms Demand Action Holds Rally At Kroger Investor Meeting

ERLANGER, KY - The gun grabbers are at it again, this time in Kentucky where a Kroger investor meeting was taking place. The small group of women that gathered had brought with them some portable billboards. Also brought were signs, with the hashtag #Groceriesnotguns. It looked to me like a more appropriate name should be Granny's Against Guns!

The plain and simple fact of the matter here is criminals do not open carry, they hide their weapons to not bring attention to themselves. Lawful carry of a firearm for self defence as well as the possible protection of others is the Right of all people. Creating another "Gun Free Zone" protects no one but the criminal element that wishes to do harm to others. It also emboldens more crime to occur putting all at risk of harm. Telling a criminal that a gun is not allowed, is as stupid as telling them robbery is against the law. They do not care, that is why they are criminals, they break the law!

There are companies that realize that "Gun Free killing Zones" are a bad idea and encourage lawful gun owners and their firearms. Signs are popping up welcoming gun owners and are taking advantage of the increased sales. Discounts are often given as well by some, if you are packing heat. It also serves as not only a crime deterrent, but a liability free zone as well. If you own property and you take away peoples ability to protect and defend themselves and loved ones, you must take responsibility for their safety and take steps to ensure it. That brings in of course added cost of security personnel to safeguard against liability concerns.
