HOUSTON- It was around 3:30 am when neighbors of the home invasion victim heard a commotion leading up to gunshots and the sound described as a body hitting the floor above them.
A home invasion victim called 911 to report he had just shot one of three suspects that had smashed his window and broke down his door. When the Houston Police Department arrived, they found one of the suspects with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was taken to the hospital to undergo surgery as the investigation continued at the scene.
One of the other complex residence reported that her family had recently been a victim of robbery at knife point after breaking into her car and no longer feels safe. The complex residence are glad their neighbor stood up for himself and want these crimes to stop.
