Home Invasion Becomes Gunfight To Save Children In Orosi California

22 Year old wounded while bravely shooting it out with home invasion suspects to save his siblings.

On Tuesday morning at around 5:30 am, a gunfight for life erupted in the town of Orosi California. A young man upon hearing what he thought was a break in, after his parents had left for the day to go to work, gathered up hie younger siblings and had them take shelter.

The sheriff's office says the 22-year-old was absolutely fighting for his life and trying to protect his other family members who were 8, 13 and 18 years old.

In what could only be described as a "Do or die" situation, the 22 year old bravely shot it out with multiple suspects killing one and wounding another. All the while suffering from his own wounds.

It is news like this that reminds me of what a person will do to protect the family they love so dear. This young man is a hero, and my thoughts and prayers go out to him for a speedy recovery, and to the family that had the smarts to be capable of defending themselves.
