Home Invasion Suspect Shot In Philadelphia While Fighting With College Students

JUNE 4,2014 - A man broke into a home in Mantua Philadelphia around 7 am this morning and awoke one of three residents inside.

The resident struggled with the intruder while yelling for help and that brought another resident to his aid with his firearm.
No word yet if the suspect was armed.

The suspect was shot multiple times and fled the scene although he did not get very far and collapsed outside. A neighbor who looked out her window stated she saw the suspect laying there bleeding out.
